How to take screenshots on a laptop or desktop

In this WebStory i am providing you some points or instructions for taking screenshots on  Windows

To capture the entire screen, press the "PrtScn" key on your keyboard. This will copy the screenshot to your clipboard. 

PrtScn (Print Screen) Key 

To capture only the active window, press "Alt + PrtScn" together.

Press the "Windows key + Shift + S" together. This will dim the screen and open a small menu at the top with options to capture screenshot. 

Windows Key + Shift + S (Windows 10 and later)

Select the area you want to capture, and the screenshot will be copied to your clipboard.

Search for "Snipping Tool" in the Windows Start menu and open it. 

Snipping Tool (Windows 7 and Windows 8.1)

Click "New" to start a screenshot capture. You can choose to capture a freeform area, a rectangular area, or the entire screen.

After capturing, you can annotate and save the screenshot from the Snipping Tool.

Search for "Snip & Sketch" in the Windows Start menu and open it. 

Snip & Sketch (Windows 10 and later)

Click "New" to take a screenshot. You can annotate and save the screenshot from the Snip & Sketch app.
